Tech Revolution Africa 2.0 Convenes Over 5,000 Participants in Lagos

Africa’s largest tech conference, Tech Revolution Africa 2.0, brought together more than 5,000 participants from across the continent on January 30–31, 2026, at the Landmark Event Centre in Lagos, Nigeria. The two-day summit served as a hub for tech leaders, startups, investors, and policymakers shaping Africa’s digital economy.

A Bold Step for Africa’s Tech Ecosystem

Themed “The Big Bold Step,” the conference featured over 80 speakers, 38 exhibitors, and 15 product showcases. MTN, Africa’s leading telecommunications company, headlined the event alongside tech giants such as Ligadata, CoralPay, Huawei, Infonomics, Vennote, and Bluechip.

Key discussions focused on how AI can optimize supply chains, data can guide equitable policies, infrastructure can bridge urban-rural divides, and digital payments can transform e-commerce across the continent.

StartUp Fest: Funding and Exposure

The summit also hosted the Tech Revolution Africa StartUp Fest, giving early-stage startups the chance to pitch for $1,500 in seed funding and gain exposure to investors and ecosystem partners.

CoralPay, a gold sponsor and leading payment infrastructure provider, emphasized the role of reliable payment systems in Africa’s digital transformation. Since 2005, CoralPay has pioneered C’Gate USSD, Africa’s first interoperable USSD payment channel.
