SOLVIT AFRICA Opens Applications for Code2Connect Fellowship to Prepare Graduates for Tech Careers

SOLVIT AFRICA, a Kigali-based technology and business process outsourcing (BPO) company, has opened applications for its Code2Connect Fellowship, a skills development program designed to prepare unemployed university graduates for careers in technology. Applications are open until July 15, 2026, with the fellowship offering practical training in software development, cybersecurity, mobile application development, and UI/UX design to help participants transition from education into employment.

Bridging the Gap Between Education and Industry

As Rwanda's digital economy continues to expand, employers are increasingly seeking graduates with practical experience alongside academic qualifications. The Code2Connect Fellowship aims to address this challenge by providing industry-focused training that equips participants with technical and professional skills aligned with current workforce demands.

The fellowship targets university graduates who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET), creating opportunities for young people to strengthen their employability through hands-on learning and mentorship.

Training in High-Demand Technology Fields

Participants will specialize in one of four career-focused tracks:

• Django Web Development

• Cybersecurity

• React Native Mobile Development

• UI/UX Design

These disciplines are among the fastest-growing areas in the technology sector, with increasing demand for professionals capable of building secure digital solutions, developing mobile applications, and designing user-friendly digital experiences.

Supporting Rwanda's Growing Digital Workforce

SOLVIT AFRICA is a Kigali-based technology and business process outsourcing (BPO) company focused on connecting global employers with skilled African talent. How to Apply

The fellowship will be conducted at Inindi House, KN 3 Road, Kigali. Applications are open until July 15, 2026, and are available to university graduates who are not in employment, education, or training (NEET).
