Mastery Hub of Rwanda Announces Academic Software Development Internship

Mastery Hub of Rwanda (MHR) has announced a new Academic Software Development Internship program aimed at strengthening practical software development skills among students in Rwanda.

The initiative targets L4 and L5 Software Development (SOD) students, university students, and learners pursuing programming-related courses.

Bridging Classroom Learning and Industry Practice

The internship is designed to give participants hands-on experience by working on production-level projects. Organizers say the program will also expose students to emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence and modern development tools.

Participants are expected to receive certification upon completion. The program also includes field engagement with tech companies, offering students insight into real industry environments.

Partnerships and Cost Structure

The internship is being conducted in partnership with organizations including ALX and Andasy, signaling collaboration between training institutions and industry platforms.

According to the announcement, the program is offered at a subsidized rate, with participants required to cover 50% of the total cost. The structure appears aimed at making practical tech training more accessible while maintaining sustainability for the program.
