KITECH Gateway Helps Businesses Upgrade Their Online Presence Without Rebuilding Their Websites

KITECH Gateway Helps Businesses Upgrade Their Online Presence Without Rebuilding Their Websites

AI Quick Summary

  • KITECH's Gateway service helps small businesses establish a professional digital identity without rebuilding their existing websites.
  • For Rwf38,000 annually, Gateway provides a .rw domain, professional email, SSL, DNS management, and three custom routes.
  • It allows businesses to connect their current websites (e.g., from Vercel, Wix, GitHub Pages) to a branded .rw domain.
  • The service enables businesses to upgrade from generic email addresses to professional, branded email accounts.
  • Gateway is particularly relevant for Rwandan businesses aiming to enhance their online credibility and consistency without significant disruption.

For many small businesses, getting online no longer requires building a website from scratch. Free and low-cost platforms can make that process easier, but a generic web address or email account can still make a business look less established.

KITECH is addressing that gap with Gateway, a service that gives businesses a professional digital identity while allowing them to keep the website tools they already use.

A Professional Identity Without Starting Over

Gateway costs Rwf38,000 per year and includes a .rw domain, professional email, SSL, DNS management and three professional routes.

The idea is straightforward. A business using an address such as mybrand.vercel.app or a GitHub Pages URL can connect it to a branded domain such as mybrand.rw without rebuilding the website.

KITECH says Gateway supports platforms including Vercel, GitHub Pages, Google Sites, Netlify, Webflow and Wix. Its managed routing handles the connection between the business's domain and its existing website.

From Generic Email to a Branded Address

The service also targets another part of a company's digital identity: email.

Instead of communicating through a generic Gmail or Yahoo address, a business can use an address such as hello@mybrand.rw. Gateway provides guided integration with Zoho Mail, while businesses using Google Workspace or Microsoft 365 can connect through DNS integration.

Businesses can also create additional routes such as work.mybrand.rw or info.mybrand.rw for portfolios, services or dedicated landing pages.

Why It Matters for Rwandan Businesses

For small businesses and entrepreneurs building their digital presence, the challenge is increasingly not simply having a website, but presenting a consistent and credible identity online.

Gateway's approach allows businesses to keep the tools they already use while adding a Rwanda-connected domain, branded email and cleaner customer-facing links.

That could make the service particularly relevant to businesses that have already taken their first digital step but want their online presence to look more established without the cost and disruption of rebuilding everything.
