To help equip more people with these in-demand skills, EduConnect Rwanda has opened applications for its Mastering Data Analysis with Advanced Excel & Power BI Weekend Training, a practical bootcamp designed to prepare participants for today's data-driven workplace.
Practical Training for Real-World Data Skills
The programme will run from 15 August to 5 September 2026 through weekend sessions at Centenary House, Momodi 2nd Floor, Kigali, with an online participation option also available.
According to EduConnect Rwanda, the bootcamp is designed to help participants build practical skills in database management, data querying, data preparation, data modelling, dashboard development, and business intelligence reporting using Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
Participants will also learn advanced Excel techniques such as data cleaning, PivotTables, interactive dashboards, and automation before applying their knowledge to real-world projects and case studies. The hands-on approach aims to give learners practical experience that can be applied in professional environments.
Open to Learners, Professionals and Entrepreneurs
The training is open to university students, recent graduates, researchers, business professionals, entrepreneurs, and anyone interested in developing practical data analysis and business intelligence skills.
Beyond technical training, participants will benefit from live instructor-led sessions, career guidance, networking opportunities, and a professional certificate upon successful completion of the programme. Classes will take place on weekends from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and participants are required to bring their own laptops.
The programme fee is 40,000 RWF, and EduConnect Rwanda encourages early applications as places are limited.
