Women in Tech Rwanda Opens Applications for Beginner AI and Data Science Programme

Women in Tech Rwanda, in partnership with Studyinfo.space and Nazi Tech School, has opened applications for a six-week online Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science programme aimed at beginners. The initiative seeks to introduce more people to digital skills while creating pathways into Rwanda's growing technology sector.

The programme is open to learners of all backgrounds, including those with no prior experience in technology. Applications close on 19 July 2026, with classes scheduled to begin on 27 July 2026.

Building AI Skills for Beginners

As demand for AI and data-related skills continues to grow across industries, training programmes like this are becoming an important entry point for aspiring professionals. Rather than focusing only on theory, the course promises practical learning that helps participants understand how AI technologies are applied in real-world software development.

Over six weeks, participants will receive online training covering AI fundamentals, data science concepts, and backend development. The programme is designed to help learners gain confidence while building projects that demonstrate their skills.

Organisers say the course is suitable for students, recent graduates, career changers, and anyone interested in exploring opportunities in the technology industry.
