WithinTech Rwanda Opens Applications for Get-Into-Tech Summer Camp Cohort 3

WithinTech Rwanda has opened applications for the third cohort of its Get-Into-Tech Summer Camp, a month-long program designed to introduce students to technology through practical learning and hands-on projects.

The camp will run from July 27 to August 21, 2026, in Kigali and Musanze, bringing together students interested in developing skills in coding, robotics, artificial intelligence (AI), and digital innovation.

Building Digital Skills for Young Rwandans

The program is part of WithinTech Rwanda's broader efforts to promote digital literacy and technology education among young people. The organization provides training and learning opportunities in areas such as programming, web development, innovation, and emerging technologies.

As demand for digital skills continues to grow across Rwanda, initiatives like the Get-Into-Tech Summer Camp aim to give students early exposure to technology and practical problem-solving skills.

What Participants Will Learn

According to WithinTech Rwanda, participants will take part in hands-on sessions covering:

• Coding and web development

• Robotics

• Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Innovation and problem-solving

• Digital skills and team projects

• Virtual Reality (VR)

• Presentation and communication skills

The program is open to students with or without prior technology experience.

Camp Locations and Participation Fee

The camp will take place daily from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at three locations:

• IFAK Kimihurura, Kigali

• Sonrise High School, Musanze

• Saint Paul International School

Participation costs RWF 100,000 per student for the entire four-week program.

Beyond the Classroom

In addition to technical training, students will work on projects, collaborate in teams, and receive guidance from mentors. Participants who complete the program will receive a certificate.

WithinTech Rwanda also says students may have an opportunity to participate in the Enjoy AI & Robotics Africa Open Competition 2026, scheduled to take place in Ghana.
