Rwanda ICT Chamber Invites Partners for Digital Transformation Week 2026

AI Quick Summary

The Rwanda ICT Chamber has issued an expression of interest for partners to co-organize the Digital Transformation Week (DTW) 2026. The annual event, scheduled from December 7 to 11, 2026, aims to accelerate inclusive digital transformation and foster a sustainable digital economy across Rwanda.

Building on previous editions, DTW 2026 will emphasize decentralizing digital opportunities and job creation. The week-long program will feature province-based engagements culminating in a Digital Business Summit in Kigali.

DTW 2026 Theme and Focus

Under the theme “Inclusive Digital Transformation for a Sustainable Digital Economy,” DTW 2026 seeks to bring innovation, digital skills, technology-enabled jobs, and business opportunities closer to communities throughout Rwanda's provinces.

The event builds on the success of DTW 2025, which focused on strengthening technology communities such as HealthTech, EdTech, FinTech, AI, Cybersecurity, AgriTech, and Digital Creatives. The 2026 edition expands this reach by engaging local communities directly.

Event Structure and Activities

DTW 2026 will commence on December 7, 2026, with a series of province-based engagements. These activities include provincial dialogues, exhibitions, innovation showcases, business networking sessions, workshops, and community engagements.

The week will conclude with the Digital Business Summit on December 11, 2026, in Kigali. This summit will gather national and international stakeholders to discuss Rwanda's digital economy growth, showcase local innovations, and explore investment and partnership opportunities.

Who Can Participate

The event targets a broad spectrum of participants, including public institutions, district leaders, tech entrepreneurs, innovators, ICT sector regulators, development partners, private sector players, youth, SMEs, academia, and the general public.
