Injizaa.com: Miriyari's Bid to Fix How African Founders Meet Capital

AI Quick Summary
Finding the right investor remains one of the hardest parts of building a startup in Africa. Injizaa.com, a platform owned by Miriyari Ltd, is betting that verified profiles and intelligent matching can replace cold outreach and wasted introductions.
What Is Injizaa?
Injizaa positions itself as an investment platform connecting Africa's founders with the right capital, built around verified profiles, matching by stage, sector, geography, and ticket size, and a single workspace covering pitch decks, due diligence, messaging, and deal tracking.
The platform operates on a zero-commission model and vets both founders and investors before granting access, aiming to ensure that every connection made on the platform is between serious, qualified counterparts.
For founders, Injizaa promises visibility in front of investors already matched to their sector and stage, cutting out cold outreach entirely. For investors, it offers a curated, pre-filtered pipeline of African startups aligned to their specific investment thesis, rather than a generic deal-flow feed.
Miriyari's Broader Funding Engine
Injizaa is only one arm of Miriyari's model. The company also identifies and manages grant applications on behalf of partner companies, allowing founders to focus on their product and customers while Miriyari handles the funding process end-to-end. To date, Miriyari has helped partner companies secure over $80,000 (over 80 million RWF) in grant funding, a figure that says much.
Beyond facilitating third-party capital, Miriyari also deploys its own money directly into high-potential companies, aligning itself with founders to share both risk and upside.
Three-pronged model: Grant access and application management, investor matching through Injizaa.com, and direct capital investment, combined into one funding pathway for African startups.
Founders can apply to partner with Miriyari in their grant partnership application. It closes on September 4, 2026, however, founders who miss the window can still apply through Injizaa.com afterward, though both routes remain subject to review.
Why This Matters
Africa's startup ecosystem has long struggled with a structural mismatch where investors say they cannot find enough qualified deals, while founders say they cannot find the right investors. Platforms like Injizaa attempt to solve this through verification and matching logic rather than volume, a bet that quality curation, not more noise, is what the continent's funding gap actually needs.
Whether the platform can sustain that promise at scale will depend on the depth of its investor network and the rigor of its vetting process, but for now, Miriyari is positioning itself as a company that does not just point founders toward capital, it helps them get there.
