QA Venue Solutions Rwanda (QAVSR) is a private company managing and operating Rwanda’s flagship venues. It focuses on world-class event delivery, operational excellence, and developing the live entertainment and sports industry across Africa.

Position Overview

The IT Specialist ensures the stadium’s digital infrastructure is operational, secure, and optimized for both event and day-to-day use. The role covers network systems, event Wi-Fi, CCTV, VAR systems, ticketing, POS integrations, and audio-visual operations across large-scale events such as concerts and sports matches.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Network Support: Maintain and troubleshoot stadium-wide LAN/WAN systems, ensure secure connectivity for users, POS terminals, and media teams.
Audio-Visual Setup & Event Execution: Operate AV systems—microphones, speakers, video screens, and lighting—during live events.
Technical Event Support: Troubleshoot IT/AV failures during live events to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Digital Signage & Lighting: Manage LED boards, lighting effects, and live broadcast integrations.
DAS & Communications: Maintain handheld radios, intercoms, and mobile connectivity systems.
Maintenance & Innovation: Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and propose technology upgrades.
Collaboration: Work with events, marketing, security, and broadcasting teams for technical readiness and vendor coordination.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Electronics, Audio Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years in IT systems or network management, preferably in venues, hotels, or enterprises.
Proficiency in IT networks, AV systems, sound design, broadcasting, and lighting control.
Experience with large-scale AV installations and POS integrations.
