The Imbuto Foundation is a Rwandan non-governmental organization established by the First Lady, Jeannette Kagame, in 2001, to support the development of a healthy, educated, and prosperous society. The foundation's name means "seed" in Kinyarwanda/Kirundi and symbolizes its mission to nurture individuals and communities through various programs focused on education, health, youth empowerment, and economic development. Its vision is to create a nation of empowered and dignified Rwandans by addressing the needs of the entire family through a holistic approach.
